SCM.264 Databases and Data Analysis for Supply Chain Management


Class Info

Introduces databases, data analysis, and machine learning topics. Covers data modeling, relational databases, SQL queries, data mining, non-relational databases, and data warehouses. Introduces data analysis tools for visualization, regression, supervised and unsupervised techniques including principal component analysis and clustering. Term project includes implementation of data model, database, visualization and data analysis.

This class has no prerequisites.

SCM.264 will not be offered this semester. It will be available in the Fall semester, and will be instructed by C. Cassa.

Lecture occurs 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays in 35-225.

This class counts for a total of 6 credits.
