Reviews the normal biology, biophysics, physiology and morphology of the inner ear and auditory nerve, as well as the mechanisms underlying sensorineural hearing loss.

This class has no prerequisites.

HST.721 will be offered this semester (Fall 2017). It is instructed by M. C. Liberman and S. F. Maison.

Lecture occurs 9:00 EP to 10:30 EP on Tuesdays and Thursdays in LIB.

This class counts for a total of 12 credits.
