ESD.050 Engineering Leadership Lab


Class Info

Exposes students to engineering frameworks, models, and cases in an interactive, experience-based environment, and hones leadership skills. Students participate in guided reflection on successes and discover opportunities for improvement in a controlled setting. Activities include design-implement activities, role-playing, simulations, case study analysis, and performance assessment by and of other students. Content throughout the term is frequently student-driven. First year GEL Program students register for ESD.05. Second year GEL Program students register for ESD.050. Preference to second-year students in the Bernard M. Gordon-MIT Engineering Leadership Program.

This class has ESD.05 as a prerequisite.

ESD.050 will not be offered this semester. It will be instructed by L. McGonagle and J. Feiler.

This class counts for a total of 6 credits.
