8.962 General Relativity


Class Info

The basic principles of Einstein's general theory of relativity, differential geometry, experimental tests of general relativity, black holes, and cosmology.

This class has 18.03, 18.06, and 8.07 as prerequisites.

8.962 will be offered this semester (Spring 2017). It is instructed by W. Taylor.

Lecture occurs 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays in 56-154.

This class counts for a total of 12 credits.
