8.962 General Relativity


Class Info

The basic principles of Einstein's general theory of relativity, differential geometry, experimental tests of general relativity, black holes, and cosmology.

This class has 8.07, 18.03, and 18.06 as prerequisites.

8.962 will not be offered this semester. It will be available in the Spring semester, and will be instructed by A. Guth.

Lecture occurs 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays in 2-190.

This class counts for a total of 12 credits.
