6.837 Computer Graphics

Class Info

Introduction to computer graphics algorithms, software and hardware. Topics include ray tracing, the graphics pipeline, transformations, texture mapping, shadows, sampling, global illumination, splines, animation and color.

This class has 18.02, and 6.031 as prerequisites.

6.837 will not be offered this semester. It will be available in the Fall semester, and will be instructed by W. Matusik, J. Solomon and F. P. Durand.

Lecture occurs 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays in 4-370.

This class counts for a total of 12 credits.
