6.837 Computer Graphics

Class Info

Introduction to computer graphics algorithms, software and hardware. Topics include ray tracing, the graphics pipeline, transformations, texture mapping, shadows, sampling, global illumination, splines, animation and color.

This class has 6.031 as a prerequisite.

6.837 will be offered this semester (Fall 2019). It is instructed by J. Solomon.

Lecture occurs 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays in 4-370.

This class counts for a total of 12 credits.
