5.43 Advanced Organic Chemistry
Reaction mechanisms in organic chemistry: methods of investigation, relation of structure to reactivity, and reactive intermediates. Photochemistry and organometallic chemistry, with an emphasis on fundamental reactivity, mechanistic studies, and applications in organic chemistry.
This class has 5.13 as a prerequisite.
5.43 will not be offered this semester. It will be available in the Fall semester, and will be instructed by T. Swager.
Lecture occurs 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays in 4-257.
This class counts for a total of 12 credits.
