24.952 Advanced Syntax


Class Info

Problems in constructing an explanatory theory of grammatical representation. Topics drawn from current work on anaphora, casemarking, control, argument structure, Wh- and related constructions. Study of language-particular parameters in the formulation of linguistic universals.

This class has 24.951 as a prerequisite.

24.952 will be offered this semester (Spring 2018). It is instructed by S. Iatridou and D. Pesetsky.

Lecture occurs 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays in 32-D461.

This class counts for a total of 12 credits.
