24.952 Advanced Syntax


Class Info

Problems in constructing an explanatory theory of grammatical representation. Topics drawn from current work on anaphora, casemarking, control, argument structure, Wh- and related constructions. Study of language-particular parameters in the formulation of linguistic universals.

This class has 24.951 as a prerequisite.

24.952 will be offered this semester (Spring 2017). It is instructed by D. Fox and D. Pesetsky.

Lecture occurs 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Mondays and Wednesdays in 66-168.

This class counts for a total of 12 credits.
