24.118 Paradox and Infinity

Presents highlights of the more technical side of philosophy. Studies a cluster of puzzles, paradoxes, and intellectual wonders - from the higher infinite to Godel's Theorem - and discusses their philosophical implications. Recommended prerequisites: 6.0001, 18.01.

This class has no prerequisites.

24.118 will not be offered this semester. It will be available in the Spring semester, and will be instructed by A. Rayo.

Lecture occurs 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays in 32-141.

This class counts for a total of 12 credits. This class counts as a HASS H.
