24.07 The Ethics of Climate Change

Class Info

Deals with ethical questions raised by the way in which our climate is changing as a result of fossil fuel consumption. Explores the moral problems raised by these effects, the obligations of individuals and governments, the difficulties involved in dealing with uncertainty, catastrophe, and the ethics of future generations.

This class has no prerequisites.

24.07 will not be offered this semester. It will be available in the Spring semester, and will be instructed by C. Hare and K. Setiya.

Lecture occurs 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays in 32-144.

This class counts for a total of 12 credits. This class counts as a HASS H. This class counts as a CI-H.
