21G.501 Japanese I

Class Info

Introduction to modern standard Japanese. Emphasis on developing proficiency in speaking and listening, using basic grammar and vocabulary. Basic skills in reading and writing are also taught. Lab work required. For graduate credit see 21G.551. Limited to 16 per section.

This class has no prerequisites.

21G.501 will not be offered this semester. It will be available in the Fall and IAP semesters, and will be instructed by Consult W. Maekawa.

Lecture occurs 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in 4-249.

This class counts for a total of 12 credits. This class counts as a HASS H.
