2.031 Dynamics II


Class Info

Continuation of topics introduced in 2.03, including work-energy concepts, Lagrange's equations for systems of particles and rigid bodies in planar motion, and matrix eigenvalue problems. Meets with 2.003 second half of term.

This class has 2.03 as a prerequisite.

2.031 will be offered this semester (Fall 2017). It is instructed by D. Gossard, K. Turitsyn and T. Peacock.

Lecture occurs 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays in 10-250.

This class counts for a total of 6 credits.
