18.721 Introduction to Algebraic Geometry

Presents basic examples of complex algebraic varieties, affine and projective algebraic geometry, sheaves, cohomology.

This class has 18.702, and 18.901 as prerequisites.

18.721 will not be offered this semester. It will be available in the Spring semester, and will be instructed by M. Artin.

Lecture occurs 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in 2-131.

This class counts for a total of 12 credits.
