# 18.700 Linear Algebra

Class Info

Vector spaces, systems of linear equations, bases, linear independence, matrices, determinants, eigenvalues, inner products, quadratic forms, and canonical forms of matrices. More emphasis on theory and proofs than in 18.06.

This class has 18.02 as a prerequisite.

18.700 will be offered this semester (Fall 2017). It is instructed by G. Oberdieck.

Lecture occurs 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in 4-231.

This class counts for a total of 12 credits.
