Class Info

Decision theory, estimation, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing. Introduces large sample theory. Asymptotic efficiency of estimates. Exponential families. Sequential analysis.

This class has no prerequisites.

18.655 will be offered this semester (Spring 2018). It is instructed by P. Kempthorne.

Lecture occurs 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays in 2-146.
