18.655 Mathematical Statistics
Decision theory, estimation, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing. Introduces large sample theory. Asymptotic efficiency of estimates. Exponential families. Sequential analysis.
This class has no prerequisites.
18.655 will not be offered this semester. It will be available in the Spring semester, and will be instructed by P. Kempthorne.
Lecture occurs 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays in 2-146.
