Applications of algebra to combinatorics. Topics include walks in graphs, the Radon transform, groups acting on posets, Young tableaux, electrical networks.

This class has 18.701, and 18.703 as prerequisites.

18.212 will be offered this semester (Spring 2018). It is instructed by A. Ferber.

Lecture occurs 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Mondays and Wednesdays in 4-153.
