18.212 Algebraic Combinatorics

Applications of algebra to combinatorics. Topics include walks in graphs, the Radon transform, groups acting on posets, Young tableaux, electrical networks.

This class has 18.701, and 18.703 as prerequisites.

18.212 will not be offered this semester. It will be available in the Spring semester, and will be instructed by A. Postnikov.

Lecture occurs 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in 4-145.

This class counts for a total of 12 credits.
