10.450 Process Dynamics, Operations, and Control

Introduction to dynamic processes and the engineering tasks of process operations and control. Subject covers modeling the static and dynamic behavior of processes; control strategies; design of feedback, feedforward, and other control structures; model-based control; applications to process equipment.

This class has 10.302, and 18.03 as prerequisites.

10.450 will not be offered this semester. It will be available in the Spring semester, and will be instructed by B. S. Johnston.

Lecture occurs 12:00 PM to 13:00 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in 66-110.

This class counts for a total of 9 credits.
